Pruning roses: when and how to do it

Germinating seeds is not an easy task. Don’t forget about cannabis nutrients. The process may lead to the fact that most of your seeds simply will not sprout. How to minimize losses and get a good harvest from most of your seeds. In such a case, it is important not to overdo it. It is common among some growers to use sprout additives or distilled water. They put heaters on to raise temperatures, and more. But in many ways, practice says that this approach only makes the situation worse. The germination process itself is many times easier, and even a beginner can cope with it. Let’s take a look at what is needed for more successful seed germination.

First of all, you need a food container with a lid. Put seeds in it for germination, and thanks to the container, a greenhouse effect will be created, and this will create a humid microclimate. You can also germinate seeds with gauze, this method, although old, is proven and reliable. The seeds must be fresh and of excellent quality in order to get a rich harvest.

Take the container and place the cheesecloth on the bottom, folded several times. The lowest layer should be as dense as possible. Moisten the gauze with ordinary tap water, having filtered it before that. You can also use drinking water from the store. The most important thing is that the gauze must be wet, but not flooded.

Place the seeds on the cheesecloth, spreading them a short distance from each other. It is important that they do not touch. After that, moisten another layer and cover your seeds. The layer should be thin, that much. To make the seeds visible. Close the container securely and place in a place where the temperature ranges from 22 to 27 degrees. Check the seeds once a day to see if they have opened or not, do not forget to check the moisture content of the gauze. You must wait for the future root to appear – a small white root, as soon as the seed opens. When the root is 5-7 mm long, the seed can be placed in a pot of soil. You can place the seed in a large pot right away to avoid stressing the plant due to repotting in the future.

Now, let’s pay attention to how to correctly place the seed in the pot. The health and productivity of the plant depends on the correct placement of the seed in the pot. Make a small hole in the pot with your finger, so that it is no more than 1 cm. Spray the soil with a sprayer to make it as damp as the gauze. Place the seed, root side down, directly into wet soil. Cover the seed with earth, then press firmly with your hand, eliminating possible air pockets. After that, moisten the soil again, more abundantly.
