The necessity of anticorrosion of steel structure of petroleum and petrochemical storage tank
Storage tanks are an indispensable part of the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Storage tanks are used for storage of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, etc. Petroleum products are very dangerous, so the protection of petroleum storage tanks is very important.
Since petroleum substances are solvents, they have strong solubility for general paints, so pay attention to oil resistance when choosing anticorrosive paint solutions for petroleum storage tanks.
Surface treatment:
1. Sandblasted to Sa2.5 or above, roughness 45~70μm;
2. Steel structure defects caused by welding or spatter, sharp angles, sharp edges, etc. that affect the quality of coating should be removed;
3. The surface to be painted should be free of water, dust and other dirt.
Climate environment:
The ambient humidity should be between 5 and 35℃, and no construction is allowed when it is rainy, foggy, snowy, or when the relative humidity is greater than 80%.
